With over 35 years of experience at Oregon Re-Tinners our expert tins all copper cookware by hand. First pans are stripped of the old tin and cleaned.Next the pans are hand wiped with grade “A” tin.Hand wiping the tin gives it a heavier finish then electro-plating, but it does leave a swirl in the tin. This is a natural characteristic of hand tinning and will not affect the use of the pan. After the pans are tinned they are polished to give a deep luster.
