Wire whips are first checked for broken, loose, or worn wires.  They are replaced and the whip is stripped of all grime, grease, etc.  The whip is then tinned with grade “A” tin and cleaned again.  The shaft is carefully cleaned to insure a perfect fit.  Then the gasket is replaced and the whip is as good as new.
